Good days while they lasted, toguhh. I think the the Baen webzine pays highish rates, but sadly they are the proverbial exception . . .I heard a vague rumour that OMNI might be coming back btw. Can it be true?

I have the same reaction to Heinlein, Chris. I get stuck between “I love it” and “This is annoying at times.” Now I have a third reaction: “I know where I put my copy of “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress;” I should read it again sometime soon.” ;) Heinlein is good at making me think – and rethink things I thought I understood so well!

I kind of like the lunar society described in Robert Heinlein’s “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.”

“Tourists often remark on how polite everybody is in Luna…” This is because if anyone is rude to two or more people they throw him out the nearest airlock.

This may seem harsh, but there are days I can see real merit in the idea.
