If you can count one or two friendships where you are really connected at the heart all the time, you are ahead of the rest of the world. Those kinds of connections tend to burn out too, in my experience. A good friend that you can count on to welcome you and enjoy your company whenever you are there, who's laid back and easy to take and doesn't judge you; that is solid gold, and is not to be discounted just because the heavens don't part and angels sing every minute you're together. Also, I hate FB and wouldn't have an account if it wasn't the only way to see pics of my grandkids. Gee I thought Bruno and Mary got along swimmingly.
