		<description>Eliminating the Electoral College would open up such breathtaking fraud and out-and-out poll violence that you would not believe it. Take it from me. Or don&#039;t; there&#039;s a movement to make Electoral College votes reflect the votes of the Congressional districts per state, districts already gerrymandered to provide secure, reliable right-wing results for decades to come. So the Electoral College will be overturned de facto. The rest of democracy will follow in good time. After all, who said you had to vote at all?</description>

		<description>This exact argument is still being made, 15 years later, and it&#039;s still not a good motivator for the vote.

Of course, in hindsight, Bush did up getting the presidency, but more because of fraud and voter theft than actually winning Florida.</description>
