I spent a few hot July nights in a French countryside gite with no screens.  Gorgeous setting, but hornets had nested on the roof.  Even with the lights off, they still made their way in, so we couldn&#039;t open the windows day or night.  

I like and agree with a lot of things that Europe does, but I think the US has the right idea when it comes to window screens.</description>
