(and I mean that more than someone who means it ironically) but now I realize that I am an active consumer of it, not passive. YouTube at least offers something more than the status quo, and most of the channels I watch are education-related. It's nice to passively watch things that make you feel like you learned a little something. :) I was raised by T.V. I don't own one, and I only have to be in the same room with it occasionally when I visit others.
