Of course it could be all the above, plus helping Judi go from female to male, plus her seducing him to willfully convince herself of the need for gender reassignment, plus any other reversal of the circumstances, under the circumstances. It's a fitting coda to Judi's journey, and very hard to pull off as a matter of storytelling. I like this resolution very much for the suggestion of what else could have, might have, nearly have happened.... if only. I still smile at it. Well done, Chris. Well done.
