Oh no, the knowledge doesn't taint me. I've seen an element of female character few others do, and it has enriched my understanding. But since it's nonintuitive, my perspective doesn't jibe well with the popular common assumption. These girls learned at an early age that the way they move, the things they say, the way they say them, makes most men pliant and directable, and they had no problem using those skills to get what they wanted. Nothing evil or sadistic about it; but their mastery was resented by other women who knew what they were doing but couldn't equal it. It's quite the opposite of the expected ruin and loss of self-esteem men seem to universally believe must follow, and how they learned it sets their teeth on edge. For my part, I find it fascinating that the war between the sexes is so asymmetrical, and how poorly prepared to understand it most American men are. Amazing. And intriguing. And so completely out of their sight and comprehension.

I still don't know how to feel about it either, and I wrote the thing.

And I'm sorry to hear about that, Pete. I could see how that would taint it for you. :-/

Here it comes. You know, I'm still not sure what to think of this arc. But my perspective is unlike most people's. I've known strippers whose career began at 13. This did things to them you might not expect.
