Really, I'd settle for "right-wing Christians" (definitions of that label may vary, of course) just admitting AND remembering that "under God" wasn't added to the Pledge until 1956. The founding fathers didn't put it there. Heck, the founding fathers didn't even write the Pledge in the first place. They can't seem to accept that, though. Really, I’d settle for “right-wing Christians” (definitions of that label may vary, of course) just admitting AND remembering that “under God” wasn’t added to the Pledge until 1956.
