I have come to realize I never had a place I thought of as "home", no matter how long I lived there. It was always just where I happened to be at the moment, and I have no nostalgia for any of them. I think Bruno's rootlessness is part of the reason I empathize with her.

As for her relationships, they, like mine, have been simultaneously comforting and constricting. A very troublesome dilemma.

The juxtaposition of the words “throw in your face” and “under” took me to a place you probably didn’t intend to send me. ;-)

To be totally cliched, does Sean know that Bruno is bisexual? Because to some guys, in some situations, that excuses everything. What do women want their boyfriends/husbands to bring home for them (again, as a cliche)? Flowers or candy or that kind of thing. What do men want their girlfriends/wives to bring home for them? More women. ;-)
