Edward Albee got the tone right in &quot;Who&#039;s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?&quot; For some couples, greater intimacy only means access to a larger number of vulnerable targets. For some unlucky few pairs, that includes themselves. Truly horrific internal butchery then follows. Wholly inexplicable.</description>
