Whether it's considered "Art" or "Illustration" is besides the point, you know when it's being done well. And you, Sir, are doing it well. Your depiction of the bridge compelled me to look it up, and the Hawthorne Bridge in Portland is indeed an example of a beautiful classic lift bridge. The amount of loving detail that went into this panel is gratifying to the eye, and your work deserves a heartfelt compliment. Please don't let it be hard to accept.
