Aside from simply obeying a whim, I was pointing out that, while so many others seem to think that human interaction is the key to everything, it is, in this case, obviously unpleasant, messy, and a downright pain in the *ss. Thus the notion that human interaction is the be-all end-all is just as fallacious as the notion that solitude is death of the soul. If I had a point of any kind at all — and I can by no means guarantee that I did (because, as noted, it was a whim) — that was it.

I have spent my life having people tell me that the solution to any emotional turmoil that I might experience lies in imitating THEIR behavior. I’ve rarely found such advice to be anything but simplistic.

Furthermore, THIS does not meet my definition of human interaction (if you define it differently, well, that’s fine). We’re not physically in the same room exchanging bursts of linguistic communication.
