Not to knock Katalin too far, but maybe a lot of teenaged rebellion probably comes from a strong application of Hanlon&#039;s razor: &quot;Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.&quot;.  Maybe also replace &quot;stupidity&quot; with &quot;ignorance&quot;, though, they just don&#039;t know what adult responsibility is like.

You can&#039;t teach this to kids (or some adults) either, it just creates more of a will to rebel and resentment, they have to figure it out by themselves to feel any genuine appreciation for what&#039;s being given to them.</description>
