Bruno is implying that it isn't her job to fix her own problems, and for an adult to say that to a very aware, intelligent teen is pretty frustrating. I never understood why many adults refuse to admit their faults if they're pointed out by children. If a child can see an adult's mistakes, why pretend otherwise; maybe to save face? I'd be more ashamed to not fix the mistake despite being told off by someone younger, if they're right it would be foolish to dismiss them just because of age.
