So the bottom of the employment ladder is thus eaten away by machines, and the dull ones who can't get a rung or two higher end up getting et. There is no comfortable bottom on which to laze, if there ever was. Not necessarily in a "smash the system" way, but more in a "this system promises things that can't necessarily be done for everyone, so how can we fix it?"
