So, I don't know what it depends on, skydiving club rules? By law? I'm guessing I looked at images at the time, but don't recall. Admittedly, if their chutes failed, the helmets would then be wearing THEM for protection, but I thought it might nevertheless be a regulation of some kind. Shrug.
