And her own unanalyzable fear of changing, which she still is unwilling and thus unable to dissect and pick apart. But at least she can still describe how she expects herself to react, how she's reacting to a bond she has to admit is ideal. And Gina is not tearing into her for her cowardice, pretension, deep intellectual and emotional dishonesty and sheer exasperation-generating self-blindness. It's a start. Where will Bruno take the next step? It's not a cliff. It's not even a starting block. But where is she? And where, aside from 'elsewhere,' does she want to go?
