Is it worth wondering how Samantha knows about it? I mean, if Bruno didn’t tell her about it, who did (possibly violating Bruno’s trust by doing so)?

Although I’d never kill myself because I know how much it would upset my family, I can’t presume to “judge” anyone who chooses suicide. I don’t recall ever being in a genuinely life-threatening situation before, but on rare occasions, I wonder just how hard I’d try to escape (which is the opposite of Bruno’s reaction). I *wonder*. On RARE occasions. It’s nothing that should concern anyone. Hopefully, the situation will never come up, anyway.
