I was wondering how Susan could have missed the significance of that if she had been. At the risk of sounding too dark, Bruno must be really determined on this if she carried a cinder block all that way (and no one noticed?) without once thinking to herself "ahh, the hell with it" and just walking away and leaving it there. Those things are heavy, which I guess is why they hold bookshelves in place so well. Oh, okay, she’s not *wearing* the chain.
