I find that’s often true. Both children and adults who I find rather spectacular and fascinating, are often folk who ALSO don’t fit in very well.

Gifts are fun to give, but there are dynamics which are hard. Whether to see the person open it or not, how to say thank you. Very complex.

I think when I wrote this I was becoming confused/upset/despairing of the word “love” in the “romantic one true evertything” kind of sense.
