We live complicated lives.

I am an eternal optimist, and for better or worse, appreciate a good optimist.

I got a lot of comments, of people really upset with Doris. Which is interesting to me. I don’t have a strong feeling either way about it, I think it’s situational and that we all have to make our own moral choices best we can, but find arguments on both sides interesting,

If I recall correctly, I was playing a little with Bob Dylan’s finding Christianity. I was told, anecdotally, that it happened after a motorcycle accident. In researching this tidbit, I found that there was a decade between the two incidents.

I always liked the pregnant angel costume, which an acquaintance rocked back in high school.

Sometimes we need to go home for a while, whatever that means to us. I did it for a period around 2008. Sad and hard and good and needed.

Apologies for yesterday’s strip posting late. There was a fire again in the area where we’re staying, and we evacuated, and so I totally spaced it.

Blog: The funny thing is I’m both of these, and then some. I like to think over things, but I also don’t like to form strong opinions, and I can be stubborn with my opinions as well as easily (if not desirous) sometimes of being swayed. We are not black & white creatures and don’t live in a black & white world, and the only thing I’m sure of is that anyone who sees things in black & white: I am suspicious of.

It’s good to ask questions like this. One never knows. But it is always good to be wary.

I’m not sure how much is society, and how much is hard-wired, but validation is so important to us. But to good, validation is irrelevant. Good is good.

Maybe.

It was time for Bruno to have a hat update. Although I’m not sure this one got as much play.
