Sometimes there are very good times to just run away.

Being the third wheel is never fun, because you’re basically unwanted.

This is always a strange situation. Hanging out with a friend, and it’s a fine thing, and then someone else comes along and your friend starts glowing. I’m glad it’s not a usual situation, as it can feel sad (for yourself) even though you’re happy for your friend.

There is little like feeling like a total F*$kup, and have people think you’re cool.

Ah, to have the strips running so close to correctly on date.

And there’s nothing like helping a drunk friend, only to have things taken the wrong way.

It was a lovely book. But, had issues.

It always feels good to accidentally show up at the right time AND feel welcomed.

I suspect that while stripping, the performers are often thinking of other things.

One of the problems with drinking is when everyone else gets drunk ahead of you and start behaving like nitwits, or they fall asleep. Then it can become a tad boring.

Sometimes I really appreciate a little mindless enthusiasm in my life. Sometimes it’s a good thing to salve the dark seriousness of most days. (less these days, as I’ve said before, I’ve largely managed to work my way out of my darker depressions)
