   I thought Bruno embraced (no pun intended) the concept of making love just for pleasure and intimacy, without any underlying relationship that would need to “work out.” Did she evolve past that without me noticing?

   Besides, all Danielle’s asking for is a KISS. They could’ve had this same basic conversation AFTER kissing.

   Just because you don’t need a relationship for physical intimacy, doesn’t mean you want physical intimacy with everyone. She’s trusting her gut (for better or worse) that this is maybe not a great idea for their friendship.

   Wait, I’ve been here before…

   Sometimes, yeah, somebody thinking you’re cool when you feel a total loser just hurts. But other times it can help pull you out of a funk, a bit. It depends on… far too many variables.

   Being a passive-aggressive type, I tend more towards the former. I certainly cannot fault Bruno for feeling that way; it would be hypocritcal, at the very least. But sometimes it does work the other way. Sometimes it feels good when people you know express admiration.

   Just sayin’.
