   And Bruno finds herself… well, home as long as she wants it. Knowing she has friends on the West Coast and can even make new ones herself, if she doesn’t self-sabotage, as she know she can. No one is perfectly set in life, like a gem into a timeless setting, but there’s something to be said for being able to swim against the flow, if you don’t particularly feel like going with it.

   This syllogism of the education of Bruno complete, the Caliph Christopher sits down.

   Thank you again, Christopher, for reposting these over the years. I was there for the original journey and it was just as emotionally wrenching to follow these characters again on the repostings. This will always be one of my favorite stories and thank you for creating it and sharing it with us.

   Perhaps a bit much to ask for, but I would love to see a ‘where are they now’ catch up for the main – and maybe some random background? – characters, true-life drama-style. :D

   I never mentioned, but I do appreciate that you gave us “closure” for Bruno.

   It makes it easy for the child that lives in me to believe that she is well and happy wherever she is.
