I had her work at the Moody Cow Convenience store because it was also the name I wanted to publish under. I later dropped it for the more innocuous and less interesting Good Port Publishing.
I think it was a somewhat parody of one of the old milk carton logos from Dairy Mart, which i can’t seem to find at the moment.
I think they’re standing on Boltwood Walk.
This strip somewhat comes out of my repeated amazement at jobs to hear people complain about their duties because “they don’t want to.” I always feel that I’ve sold my soul for a few pennies and have no right to complain, so I just frikkin’ do it.
Which is why it was such a relief to become a full-time cartoonist, and why it’s so frustrating that I may have to rejoin the work-force in the next few months. Ah well.
It’s funny, some of my female friends don’t mind being hit on genrally, and some HATE it. Bruno, in general, finds it transparent and annoying. Not that she doesn’t have several contradictory behaviors she does herself.
I have often felt that I don’t really understand other people’s dreams. Sometimes the worse days are when I feel I do.
The good thing about keeping your enemies close is that you know where you stand. Or as Sun-tzu put it, “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”
