I still find an actuarial deterministic god to be an interesting concept.

And yeah, silliness is a mask I’ve always used, and still find effective when needed.

I’ve always been intrigued by the idea that one “finds god in a foxhole.” Having cut myself off from the 9-5 world and tried to carve out a living as a cartoonist, there are times when I could just cry because things were in such despair. God still isn’t my cup of tea, but I recognize that at those times, those are when I wish that I had any inclination towards belief.

Sometimes I find my brain going like this, by the time I get all the “conditons” out of the way, I’ve practically forgotten what I was talking about.
