Well, any deity with enough bandwidth would see everything happening simultaneously, so is that really determinism, or do I just read too much science fiction?
It DOES smack of the Arisians, doesn’t it? The ability to predict what you’ll do even after you’ve been informed that it’s going to happen. Except this form of determinism is distinctly ex post facto — what you did was foreseen, even if you didn’t know about it, ditto what would happen even if you DID expect it.I’m not sure how I would live knowing I was always being second-guessed. What’s the fun in that?
