Having gotten to know quiet sweet always supportive people like Sara, I’ve sometimes found they have this self-punishing regretful side.

Not sure which side I’d take on this one. Often friends are just awesome as friends, even if you have some romantic inclination.

Sometimes of days or working nonstop I get a bit manic like this.

Apologies! Transition got me behind again. Suddenly left San Diego, and my relaxed weekend of doing work (like uploading Bruno) was suddenly a weekend of driving and catching up frantically. Sometimes I wonder, as unlikely as it is (and I’m not sure it’s even desirable), someday IF there is a webpage listing memorable quotes by me, what will be included from my work (as they are more often from author’s work than from their mouths).

I suspect “I dated a writer once. I don’t know which was worse: when he was wronging me or writing me” might be a candidate.

Yeah, I remember those protests. intense times.

In the Pacific Northwest, there is ALWAYS the chance of real rain raining on your real parade.

If you see how conflicted she is at being able to play the game of the 9-5 life, and how much it messes with her, you can see why I stuggled so hard to make comics, something I love and enjoy doing, my full-time job.

And so it begins (and will continue for a long time in the strip), an intense attempt to deconstruct the concept of stripping.

Plus, you don’t battle against depression, you don’t fix it, you battle to keep yourself alive and mentally healthy.
