Ah life, just a line of greetings and farewells. Sometimes it’s a great thing, sometimes sad.
I think cynicism is worse than depression, but it does ease it.
Funny that I drew a good amount of people in the Driftwood Room in Portland, generally it was pretty empty when I was there.
A good definition of the various levels of drunkenness. Don’t do that much any more, can’t say I miss it much.
It’s always good seeing old friends.
Seeing Portland 12 years after this strip…. pretty grim assessment. Pretty grim and true.
Sometimes it’s luck, and sometimes I find it’s all about the letting go. And sometimes, like with Sara here, you’ve let go and it’s still not raining.
I remember returning to Portland after traveling to Europe. I felt pretty potent too. Despite the next year proving to be a very difficult one.
I LOVE personal mail. Which is why stacks of junk like this are so depressing.
