It’s always a downer to interrupt someone’s blues with perspective. Also, usually particularly annoying.
I like that Bruno is forgiving of humanity… to a point.
This strip was actually inspired y the always cheerful waitress at the Classe Cafe in Amherst. Miss that place (Damn you, Brueggers!)
It was interesting to try to write snippets of a story, without a lot of plan, and have it sporadically in the strip. I think it’s not great, but is a silly fun little side story in the strip.

Which are often VERRRRYYYY different questions.
I think Jeremy’s first reply is very astute. However, perhaps Bruno simply wishes for something to complain about, and working at the convenience store WON’T inspire change.
