I liked this added facet to Lenny’s personality. Not just some guy in a warehouse pushing a dolly. And yeah, today even more than then, big corporations are making it harder and harder to survive on the meager wages and benefits they’re doling out, I’m very thankful for unions and union organizers.
Funny how each success is measured differently, depending on the situation/struggle.
This series of strips was inspired by my good friend Jen, who worked for building credit unions.
I find this exchange to be very tender and emotional. Which might explain me a bit.
I wonder sometimes what my friends think I USUALLY do. :)
I like that after traveling she always ends up on Lenny’s couch. Sometimes I wish I had a magic couch like that.
Sarcasm is hard to deliver to someone you’ve just met. One really needs a point of reference and familiarity with inflection to be up on it.
It’s good to realize that your lame excuse for why problems exist — is just that, kinda’ lame.
Fun is DEFINITELY in the eyes of the beholder when it comes to being sneaky and surprisey.
