I think therapy helped me a lot to come out of my shell and go to see the world. I am very thankful for it.
It’s always good to see an old friend. There should be a word for it.

When I moved west, back in 1999, I recall well the realization that I just needed a fresh slate. I actually moved to Portland sight-unseen (on the recommendation of a friend who’d moved there). So i didn’t know what I was getting into, but I knew what i was going away from.
Oh, and it ended up (eventually) being a really good positive thing.

I like the fact that they are clearly in violation of each others personal space. one of the nice things about good friends.
