Ugh. Yeah. Sometimes explaining is the worst thing you can do even when it is the thing you want to do most.
In truth, I’ve never been good at flings. I think I’m a slow sparker. not sure I quite fully realized that when I wrote this strip. Not that is 100% me, but definite overlap.

Sometimes that has to be what forces the decision.
It’s like the tower in the middle of the jail courtyard with one way mirrors. MAYYYBE guards are watching, but mostly it’s all in your head.
The best part about calls with good friends isn’t usually the advice, it’s the pleasant connection, laughs, and cheering up.

Who DOES take care of the sick grown child on their own? Answer: themseleves. And thus the world wags.
Well, unless it’s serious, or one is actually emotionally able to ask for help from friends rather than die alone of stoicism.
