But yes, it’s amazing what people don’t think of as wages. As an artist, I can attest. And gifts! Don’t get me started on gifts.
Surreality at its surrealist.
It was fascinating to attempt to write Bruno working as a stripper, because it is such a complicated complicated thing.
At the time of writing this, I believe, I’d begun coding documents for legal databases, and so a lot of this lingo was going through my head.
Making work friends is always stepping out on a ledge.
I suspect that while stripping, the performers are often thinking of other things.
It’s funny, even after many books, I still have feels like this with each new book.
It always feels good to accidentally show up at the right time AND feel welcomed.
