I like how sometimes I got so organic with the drawings, wrapping the text around the drawings.
In fact, I largely drew in the characters first and then lettered around them, an odd way to go about things.
Who was it, a friend of mine was either doing this yelling or talking about doing this yelling. it was too wonderful and colorful not to relay.
I am a bit proud of this little poem.
Oh, and Jeremy is very right. Definitely for the best on both ends.
I think while writing and drawing Bruno I often posed the question to myself about art LARGELY because I wasn’t making money for it. If not for money, you really do need to know what IS your motivation. At least with money you can say, well, I’m also earning money and simply enjoy it.
And simply enjoying it is just a fine reason as any. :)
“You guys just put up with me, don’t you?” was a thought I had WAYYYY too often in my twenties.
