See that? That is a BIG difference in people. Some people are surprised at their own weakness, but accepting of it. Some are not surprised and are harsh.

I think flirting is often lost on kids. Go figure.
I’ve always felt that there are various kinds of prisons. Of course, never having spent time in a real one, I’m sure none of them are quite as bad.

I have difficulty receiving token gifts I don’t want. I think it’s a mix of my environmentalism and liking to live somewhat uncluttered (my brain is cluttered enough as it is).
Funny how in emotional moments, like goodbyes, it seems reasonable to make parallels between one’s situation and huge events like freeing slaves or liberating India.
Isn’t it true that the people who need th emost worrying about often worry so much about others?
Sometimes it takes someone not being paid enough to be kind, to get an honest opinion. And sometimes someone young. And sometimes both.
I think when I wrote this I was becoming confused/upset/despairing of the word “love” in the “romantic one true evertything” kind of sense.
