These are the twists and turns my brain would take. I didn’t want to live if I wasn’t happy, but I wasn’t happy. guess i wanted to live more than I would admit. ;-)

I think there’s truth to this. That sometimes when one is really lonely or desiring physical comfort, that one might label something as “love,” even if it’s an exaggeration or even untrue, simply to justify fulfilling those needs.

Bruno is being a real stick-in-the-mud… but emotions can be complex things. Letting someone go is tough.
You can be a naive fool in life bumbling and failing left and right, but if you’re willing to step up when it counts, that’s a damn fine thing.
At least she got a good kick in. But, ow. For both parties.
