Ribbing between friends is such a lovely unique complex thing.
When I learned the word “peripatetic” I was very happy.
And it was declared that the running jokes between friends…. WOULD NEVER DIE.
I have always had many friends who aren’t very anchored, and it makes me happy, and it makes me sad.
I find it an interesting phenomenon that some jokes get more lame and then resurge as funnier than ever and then lame again. It’s like the ebb and flow of the ocean.
Goodbyes after a long road trip are always surreal. The trip has become your life in a way, and so it’s a real intense thing. Or, at least, I’ve found it to be that way.
I always like to drop a bomb like this among hubbub and let it work its way out. Sometimes the bomb is even the truth. :)
For some reason I always mix up “-in-law” and “step-.” Don’t know why i can’t keep them straight. Glad I got this one correct. I think.
Dana and Samantha always delighted me so much to write. I’ve kept in mind doing spin-offs based on them, even in fictitious other worlds. But how know. Not on the top of piles of things to do today. :)
