Ah, Bruno, trying to fight something both inside and outside of you.
Hey, everyone, in good news, I (should) finally have all the recovered files in the next week or so, so they’ll be back to normal size. And also, I should have the books reprinted later this year (thought the still versions are still available on Topataco).
These are hard issues to slog through, for both men and women (though perhaps more for women in our culture).
It’s true. There’s always some jerk waiting to tear you down. Grow strong, keep as many jerks out of your life as you can, and try to keep your spirits up.
She has been a bit on a downward trend, hasn’t she. I think this strip might have somewhat been me realizing I needed to turn her (or possibly myself) around a bit.
It can be odd seeing old friends, the patterns of interaction so often fall right into place from the day you left.
Sometimes I see old friends and I start talking about bumping into some person we knew mutually, and describe their odd behavior, and then realize I’m unsure where my friend stands on that person, and I suddenly don’t know if I’m talking smack or just observations, and I try to backpedal furiously.
Usually they say, “yeah, that person’s a total dick.”
YAY! My printer was able to dig up my files and we’re back to legible sized strips online! Yay! (including January’s archive. Go look! Really!
:Ahem:
I find that’s often true. Both children and adults who I find rather spectacular and fascinating, are often folk who ALSO don’t fit in very well.
