That was me trying to make a funny, while talking about the issue. The reality is, i’ll bet most people wearing turbans in the U.S. in the last dozen years would be thrilled if the main comment they got was how nice it looked.
I suppose it’d be more funny if Uno was a strategy game, and not just luck-based.
And this conversation renews itself with every generation.
I still sometimes forget people are just looking for you to say, “fine.”

Thank goodness I don’t care about what holiday is going on any more, and can simply enjoy the time with friends and family rather than feeling prickly about it.
