There is nothing quite like a huge cry after a breakup, for better or worse. And it never has to be justified. it is simply part of you being torn out, and it hurts.

And the deep serenity after a deep cry, is also a thing of it’s own magnificence – again, for better or worse.
It can be a relief, when depressed and agonizing over something, to simply have the debate go away. Like in this case, not really resolved, just gone. Forced away.
And thus we allow cats to stay in our lives.
I find it fascinating to witness in myself the guilt in feeling pleasure after a “tragic” event.
When you’re on the bottom rungs, work rules can really really suck.

Not on stage, but I remember in deep throes of depression doing things like this just to function.
