Sometimes it helps, when you have a problem — debt, depression, etc — to think, “what if I didn’t?” I find it can help me find a path, or at least a hint of a path.

What she doesn’t see, maybe because it is too painful to admit to herself, is that so much of this stems directly from poverty. Looking back at myself during that time, i can say the same.
This as much as anything else, explains why I’m an artist.

And, this reminds me of when I polled readers: women on whether or not they thought Harvey Keitel was attractive. And men on whether or not they thought women thought Harvey Keitel was attractive. Majority of women said “no” and the majority of men said “yes.” Which I found kinda interesting.
