I often feel like this on bad days, just need a wee bit of cheer. I also want to say that at the time a friend of mine was ill or something and was cheered up by daisies, but it was so long ago I’ve forgotten.

When I wrote this, a friend of mine had just told me that she had been diagnosed with having a non-cancerous ovarian cyst. I wrote this strip to cheer her up.

Even back in 1996, Mikey had decent cell-phone etiquette. Gad, did I even KNOW anyone with a cell-phone back then?
Sometimes you have to laugh at the stupid shit you do, because being depressed and self-criticizing just takes too much out of you.
