I had a therapist break things off exactly as happens here, although it was after several sessions, and I didn’t talk sass like Bruno.
I believe this was around when i was introduced to Herriman’s work, both “Krazy Kat” and “Archy and Mehitabel” (which he did with Don Marquis). Both of them so lovely.
I don’t mind greyhound, but as long as they were on it (at least a few days) it can become pretty grueling.
I can’t tell if she’s bragging or if she’s trying to needle him with a possible topic that tests his levels of acceptance. And I’m not sure she knows either. ;-)
See, i think Jay kinda’ wins this one. He doesn’t get upset at ALL by the concept, only that he didn’t think it was Bruno’s style. but Sophia has a point too, we all change and try things and that’s fine and good.
