I think this is one of the sweetest moments of Dan so far. I love writing something that i can come back to and go “awwww.”
Of course, it’s sweetness amongst the wreckage of the “Bruno” family dynamics. ;-)
When I wrote this I was already getting ready for the move west, knowing what I’d be doing to Dan.
Also, Cat’s description of the west coast somewhat fit my misconception of western cities in the North like Portland, where I’d be moving.
Speaking as someone who had been having PB&Js for lunch since kindergarten, I side with Cat on this one.
Having a laptop really changed the game for me, especially since I made the switch to deriving all my income from my comics and freelance. On the flip side, every vacation is a bit of a work vacation. :)
I find that sometimes writing in a different place has a notable effect on output. Though sometimes I make myself write in different places to make myself flexible.
Don’t remember which library this was. I think it was either the Jones (Amherst) or the Forbes (Northampton) in Massachusetts.
