Kudos to Dije for taking the hit for his mistake. Which will make sense once the story gets to explaining what this is all about.
Man. Poor Dije. I always felt he was one of more complex characters, and still appreciate him as such.
The nice thing about apologizing is that it often goes this well and feels this good. The stinky part about apologizing is that sometimes it doesn’t.
As a guy, it was awesome fun to write this. Based somewhat on my own thoughts, but also on a good number of conversations with others.
Once I got on the topic, I had a lot of fun thinking about it. What seems obvious (or not even thought about) for the guy, is (potentially) such a mystery to your partner.
