Complex and haunted. The air of guilt to him is strange, and begs an explanation. It’s as if he feels not just protective of Judi, but responsible in some way for what happened to her. I always had the impression that he never delved deeply into this, his one Achilles heel. Why would he leave himself so vulnerable? Unless it was more painful to contemplate than even he could stand.
This lost me. It’s like I missed a strip somewhere.
Mis-reading the sentence as “We enjoy your TRANNY Dije” on the first pass didn’t help.
