Bruno is a bit nasty to Jay, but I also find this an interesting side to her, in that Donna is giving her the cold shoulder and she won’t accept that Donna has any fault in the matter and takes it all on herself.
Jay is awesome in an ape suit.
I wonder sometimes if religious folk who use expressions such as “God only knows if such-and-such will occur” think of the phrase differently than when I do.
Although, upon reflection, I think I can assume that almost EVERYONE thinks differently about their phrasing than I do.
This was from a game of “Pitch” my brother and I were playing. I think I captured the ludicrousness and laughter.
Jay may be over-the-top, but I always enjoyed writing their interplay. It’s so casual.

Tormenting friends is a sweet enjoyment which is so unique. I think this strip has that good feel of it, although I think in writing the “Bruno” strip as a whole, that I should perhaps have played up more of their relationship’s non-ironic non-tormenting side.
Jay is rather (backhandedly) complimentary and sound in this strip. I like it.
See, even Jay knows that their bickering is largely for entertainment, and knows when it’s maybe not the right time.
