Okay, Bruno is being plain ornery now. Dan is saying the stuff she would not be out of character to say.

When writing Bruno, I was someone who thought too much. I am lucky that these days I think just around about enough.

See? Age perspective. Advice I was giving myself when writing that, but not quite being able to digest it.
I found that most hard conversations with myself ended this way. Well, possibly not on a boat, wielding a paddle.
A decision too late. How many of THOSE have I experienced? Sigh.
See? This was me, in my head, and me arguing against my head, and being baffled at which insanity was right.
Sneak attack is the best way around a thinker. Just saying.
I have sometimes wondered this very question.
And when someone pulls away, the arguments against fall apart. THIS is what relationship-phobicness is about. Maybe.
