I remember the feeling well, right before I first left my hometown area. The feeling of nostalgia before leaving, the feeling of goodbye to familiarity. A good feeling, but a sad feeling.
Sometimes the only way to get yourself to cross a bridge, is to go out on it and set it on fire behind you.
Not a good idea if on an ACTUAL bridge. Just so you know.
Not that I’ve tried it.
I’ve had friends go clothes shopping with me. It can be helpful to get feedback, as well as prodding.
I actually went through a lot of catalogues and magazines and drew her in a lot of stuff, seeing what seemed to work and not. Having her shop allowed me to put up the ones that DIDN’T work. :)
This strip was a direct reflection of ME realizing that I’d never contemplated the concept of a “wardrobe.”
Weird thing, that concept.

Fortunately I finally sorted it out about 8 years later.
I never passed up an invitation to mock good ol’ Garfield. A strip I loved as a kid, but as i gee up came to be disinterested in.
Traveling can be so frightening to a cat. Ah, but there it is. Especially when one is used to traveling under a top hat.
Um, because a scad is another word for a horse mackerel, of the family Carangidae.
Trust me, i didn’t know this either, I looked it up.
